King Orthodontics is a third-generation orthodontic practice operating in Dayton, Ohio since 1953.
The practice was founded by Dr. Ben King and later joined by Dr. Mel Mayerson and Dr. Bob Stump in 1964. Their goal was always to treat their patients to the highest standard of orthodontics and customer service and they did it with great passion.
In 1973, Dr. Ben King’s son, Dr. Jack King, joined the practice shortly after Dr. Mayerson and Dr. Stump retired. Having learned how important patient care was, Dr. Jack always took it a step further and treated every patient as family. Dr. Jack had a great desire to learn as much as possible about orthodontics. He was one of the top orthodontists in the country!
In 2005, Dr. Sam King partnered with his father, Dr. Jack King, and together formed an amazing team! Today, Dr. Sam King continues the same commitment to excellence in orthodontics initiated by the great men that stood before him. His unique combination of experience, technical expertise, and warm, personal approach to care has attracted people of all ages, satisfying patients and parents alike.
The King Orthodontics Team is dedicated to providing a positive experience for all of our patients and their families.

Invisalign is clear and hardly noticeable when smiling or talking. Patients can also remove them while eating or brushing.
The American Association of Orthodontics recommends that a child’s first visit to the orthodontist be at the age of 7. Beginning treatment at the appropriate time ensures the greatest result with the least amount of time and expense.
Tooth alignment can be changed at any age if your gums and bone structures are healthy. We offer a variety of orthodontic treatments that are designed for different age groups – including adults.
