Consume a Healthy Diet While Wearing Invisalign Aligners

Vegan quinoa tabbouleh provides a nourishing high-protein meal that is easy to chew while becoming accustomed to wearing metal or ceramic braces. In the first few weeks after beginning orthodontic treatment to repair your malocclusions, your mouth will feel sensitive, and an orthodontist will recommend consuming soft foods that do not irritate your gums or tongue. You must eat a healthy diet each day while undergoing orthodontic treatment to keep your bones and teeth strong. If you consume vitamins and minerals, then you are less likely to develop cavities in your teeth.

How to Avoid Damaging Your Teeth

Wearing Invisalign aligners or metal braces will require you to take special hygienic care of your teeth with additional flossing and brushing to avoid a buildup of plaque. Chewing hard foods such as popcorn or meat can damage ceramic or wire brackets. This is a good time to explore new recipes that contain vegetables and grains rather than meat and dairy products. With vegan recipes, you won’t need to worry about chipping a tooth or breaking a wire with a bone. You might enjoy eating a vegan diet during your orthodontic treatment and never want to eat meat again.
