Jack E. King, D.D.S., M.S.
My career in orthodontics has been very exciting and extremely rewarding. I have taken great pride through the years seeing the beautiful smiles that are the result of excellent treatment.
I grew up in Dayton, Ohio and attended The Ohio State University undergraduate school and dental school. I served as a Dental Officer in the Navy and was attached to the Marine Corps in Vietnam and California. Upon returning to OSU, I completed my two year full time residency in orthodontics.
After my orthodontic training, I returned to Dayton to join my father, Dr. Ben King, and his partners, Dr. Mel Mayerson and Dr. Bob Stump in practice. Their influence greatly impacted my life.
While in practice, after intensive study, I became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. I also finished the two year program at the Foundation of Advanced Continuing Education and so have been a long time member of the prestigious Roth-Williams International Society of Orthodontics. In addition, after presenting special case studies and a research project, I was accepted into the Midwest Angle Society.
My wife, Susie, and I are blessed to be able to spend wonderful time with our three children, their spouses, and our four grandchildren. And it is a special joy for me today to be able to practice orthodontics with my son, Dr. Sam King, and to continue to give our patients “….the smile of their life!”
